Supervisor of Adult Therapy Team
Ms. Van Tassel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from SUNY Plattsburgh, and received a Master’s degree from New York University. Since 2019, Ms. Van Tassel has worked in the community mental health field, spending five years at Brien Center serving in direct care, leadership, and quality assurance within the program. In 2024, Ms. Van Tassel joined Columbia County Mental Health Center as a Supervisor of the Adult Therapy Team. Additionally, she oversees the Anger Management program and serves as chairman of the clinic's Incident Report Committee, contributing to oversight and quality improvement within the clinic.
