John P. Cahill moved to Columbia County in 2015 from Asbury Park, New Jersey. There he was a seasonal caddy at a local golf course and enjoyed living near the beach. John was born in the Bronx and occasionally visits his family in New York City. After moving to Columbia County he studied psychology at the Sage Colleges in Albany, while working as a residential counselor for the Center for Disabilities. In his free time, John likes to go boating, camping, and is motivated to climbing the 46 Adirondack high peaks. As a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator Assistant he hopes to be able to make connections and provide services to better the community, as well as build awareness and advocate for those with mental health issues.
